Your Tasks:

• Working closely with UX/UI designers and the product team to identify research questions
• Contributing to the iterative design process by evaluating UX concepts and prototypes
• Planning and execution of qualitative user research projects on a regular basis, including usability tests, interviews, and field visits or remote sessions
• Recruitment of participants and establishment of a tester community
• Communicating findings and takeaways to others
• Being a user advocate and helping others gain insights into better understanding our users and their needs
• There might be also some basic quantitative research, but you don’t have to be an expert in data analytics

Your Profile:

• We are looking for an empathetic and inquisitive individual who asks interesting and meaningful questions and is passionate about understanding people's behaviors and motivations
• Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies
• Self-starter and pro-active approach to work
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Ideally a degree in a field such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Sociology, Psychology, Information Science, Market Research, Anthropology, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with agile working methods
• Sound knowledge of UX principles and common patterns
• Familiarity with user interfaces of web applications and mobile apps
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices (e.g. WCAG-2.1)
• Understanding of basic security and  IT topics
