Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d)

MATESO GmbH is expanding very strongly and continuously developing both nationally and internationally. We are pushing our product "Password Safe by MATESO" to become a global player! For the support area we are looking for a Support Engineer (m/f/d) for 3rd level as soon as possible.



Location-independent (preferably Augsburg / Berlin)

Your Tasks:

  • Recording, processing, documenting and solving product-specific support requests.
  • Supporting customers remotely and on-site as needed
  • Actively following up on customer issues and collaborating to improve customer satisfaction
  • In-depth analysis and reproduction of problems
  • Working out workarounds including developing SQL statements
  • Creating publications such as white papers, training materials, documentation, knowledge base articles and presentations
  • Administration and maintenance of the test systems
  • Recording new feature or service requests
  • Independent contribution of auxiliary tools as well as necessary tool maintenance


Your Profile:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English 
  • Experience in 1st or 2nd level support as well as in the area of incident management
  • Technical or university degree in computer science or alternatively training in the IT sector or comparable knowledge acquired in practice
  • Sound knowledge of Windows 7, 8, 10 and Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 as well as Active Directory
  • Experience with terminal servers, desktop virtualisation techniques Knowledge in administration
  • Knowledge in the areas of network technology, firewall, DMZ and proxy server
  • High level of comprehension of complex contexts and systems
  • A high degree of willingness to continue your education autodidactically


Preferred Additional Qualifications:

  • Interest in JS and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with AWS and Azure
  • Languages: German, Spanish, Dutch, French, Mandarin, Japanese
  • If you are far away from Augsburg/Berlin: willingness to travel to Augsburg/Berlin at least once a month for about two days at a time
